The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade requires that if an individual below 18 is travelling out of the country with only one parent or alone or with another adult, they need to present a Consent Letter from both parents for such travel. A notarized or authenticated consent letter for the trip will be the proof the parents are allowing their child to go on a trip abroad. There are notary public office that can assist you have this kind of letter. Some will even help you draft or create a good letter of consent. This document is very important to an enjoyable travel.
