Why I’m looking for new credit cards

Last year was very rough on me. After going through a divorce I lost my job. One thing that I wanted to do was improve my credit. My wife and I had joint credit and because of bills that were unpaid, my credit went from good to bad. The other night I went online and I looked up the lowest credit card rates. I ended up filling out many applications. A lot of the credit cards that were being offered had good interest rates and grace periods. I hope to hear back from these credit card companies within the next three weeks. Hopefully, I will be approved for more than one.
