I am very disappointed in my husband’s behavior before and during this divorce. It appears as though he has been putting all of our savings in the children’s names with himself as the guardian for the past couple of years. He has allowed over $100,000 in credit card debt to accumulate that we will be splitting. So now that we are getting divorced he is claiming his monthly salary only. My lawyer is suggesting a lump sum alimony but I don’t think that this would be best for me. He will be receiving large bonuses in the future and I deserve part of it especially if the courts are going to split the debt with me.
