Is it just me, or is there a big bias in the baby clothes industry towards little girls? It always seems there is a great selection for baby girls in the stores, but never quite so much for boys. In fact, on some online stores the bias seems even greater.

So far as I am aware, there is an even balance between boys born and girls. Also, boys wear clothes as much as girls do. So why should it be that infant boy clothing is in comparatively short supply? Whether you’re looking for pants, overalls, one pieces or sweatshirts, it always seems so much easier to find clothes for girls.

So come on manufacturers. We know mums love to dress up their daughters to look pretty. But infant boys need to look smart too.
