Rice Pudding – a great treat for older Babies
Whenever I cook rice as a side dish with dinner, we end up with at least a cup of it left over. I hate to throw it away, so I started to make rice pudding for my baby with it.
It’s a yummy treat made of fruit, rice and milk that’s enjoyed by almost any older baby I’ve seen try it. It also refridgerates and freezes easily and whatever baby doesn’t eat is sure to be gobbled up by other family members. In fact rice pudding is a great dessert or snack for anyone in your home.
My favorite fruit addition is apples, but you can also use pears, bananas, peaches or just about any other type of fruit you have laying around. Since the whole mixture is cooked for a while, even harder fruit like apples will turn soft so they are easy to eat for baby.
