When I first heard the word "resveratrol," I said, "Say what?" "Resveratrol; it’s the bi-product of natural plants that can be used first of all to protect the plant from insects. It has been claimed by scientists and doctors to help people combat cancer, diabetes and even obesity. It has been also responsible for giving rats a longer life. So if it can give rats a longer life, we as humans should be able to have a longer life too if we take rsveratrol as a supplement. Right? According to studies done with rats on Rsveratrol, even rats that ate high fat diets were just as healthy as the ones who ate a low-fat diet.
