The audio system in your car can be flashy or simple, depending on what you are looking for. Cars of the swinging ‘70s through ‘90s were mostly equipped with cassette players and radios that switch between AM and FM settings. But now, if you do not have a CD player and an MP3 system, you are “missing something”. Some useful parts of the old model car audio system can still be used with the MP3s and CDs in vogue. Speakers, old or new, are identical in design and use, making them applicable with both old radio and cassette players or modern MP3 and CD super systems.
