You do not see too many tattoos in the Japanese culture. I am really wondering why that is the case. After all some Asian countries have a well known practice of having tattoos as part of their rituals and artwork. Some of the Asian countries consider it really abnormal if you do not have any tattoos. It is strange how one culture will adopt the practice and others will shun it. A collective consciousness seems to taking hold here. Perhaps someone should study the adoption of pics of tattoos in various cultures and see what is the prevailing factors. It sure is an interesting question.
