The word amongst london wedding photographers is that the trend in reportage is a on a slight decline.  Over the last ten years, wedding couples have been attracted to the idea of a photojournalistic wedding photographer leaving them to enjoy the day.  This was mostly because the only yardstick they had were weddings involving a photographer, a tripod and about 2 hours of 200 formal group combinations.  But now people are realising that there is a third way: without dominating the day, photographers can offer stylish posed shots of the couple along an unobtrusive narrative of the proceedings.  In fact many couples have indicated that they welcomed taking a little time out from their guests at the reception.
